2008-07-17 – Elemental has closed its first round of venture capital financing. Industry leaders General Catalyst Partners of Boston, Massachusetts and Voyager Capital of Seattle, Washington co-led this $7.1M investment.
2007-12-14 – Elemental announced today that it successfully secured $1.05M in seed funding. The round was led by the Oregon Angel Fund, with participation from several other Northwest angel investing groups including the Bend Venture Conference and Seattle Alliance of Angels.
2006-10-16 – Elemental today announced that Pixelworks, Inc. (NASDAQ:PXLW), a leading provider of system-on-chip ICs for the advanced display industry, has agreed to provide seed funding for the company. Elemental Technologies (ETI) is a start-up semiconductor design company founded by three engineers, including Mike West, a Pixelworks co-founder. Elemental is focused on creating a revolutionary network-aware distributed display processing architecture.
