Elemental Technologies Expands Executive Team, Appoints Lyman Potts Chief Operating Officer
Portland, Ore. – November 29, 2010 – Elemental Technologies, the leading provider of massively parallel video processing solutions, today announced the appointment of Lyman Potts to the role of Chief Operating Officer. With extensive management experience spanning nearly three decades, Potts brings valuable leadership to Elemental’s executive team during a period of rapid growth. As COO, Potts will lead operations and direct the company’s finance and administrative functions.

Prior to joining Elemental, Potts acted as COO and CFO for Fios, Inc. During his seven-year tenure, he raised $19 million in venture capital, supported business development and propelled the company from $0 to $60 million in revenue. Beyond operations and finance management, he was responsible for all aspects of strategic planning, product development and customer service. Prior to his work at Fios, Potts held successive executive positions at LaCie, Ltd. U.S., acting first as CFO and then CEO of the division while directing operations worldwide.

Potts earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Humboldt University in California and received his Certified Public Accountant license in the state of Oregon. In addition to his profound professional accomplishments, Potts is an avid sailor and world traveler, having recently returned from a three-year voyage on his 43-foot sailboat, the Sans Clés.
