Elemental Shortlisted for Two IABM Design & Innovation Awards

Leading broadcast and media technology association recognizes innovation and creativity within the industry

Portland, Ore. – August 22, 2014 – Elemental Technologies, the leading supplier of software-defined video solutions for multiscreen content delivery, today announced that it has been shortlisted in both the Services category and the Playout and Delivery Systems category of the IABM Design & Innovation Awards. The awards will cast the spotlight on new solutions or products that bring benefit or create new opportunities to the broadcast and media industry.

Elemental’s award entry for the Services category was based on its Cloud 2.0 product offering, a Platform as a Service (PaaS) that can process high-volume live and on-demand video content in combination with the scale and elasticity of the cloud. Elemental’s award entry for the Playout and Delivery Systems category was based on a new video delivery platform that will be released at IBC 2014. And, as we transition through some significant change, innovation and forward thinking have never been more important.”

“It is a wonderful honor to be recognized by the IABM in these two categories,” says Keith Wymbs, chief marketing officer at Elemental. “The companies shortlisted for the IABM Design & Innovation Awards are some of the most progressive thought leaders in the industry and we are proud to be named among them.”

Shortlisted entries will be judged by a panel of independent specialists chaired by John Ive, Director of Business Development and Technology, IABM. Winners will be announced at the IABM reception and awards ceremony at IBC in Amsterdam on Saturday, 13 September at 18h30.
