Elemental Names Andy Beach Vice President Of Marketing

Video Compression Expert and Noted Author to Oversee Marketing for Breakthrough Massively-Parallel Video Processing Solutions

Portland, Ore. August 6, 2009 Elemental Technologies, the leading provider of massively parallel video processing solutions, today announced that the company has named Andy Beach Vice President of Marketing.

Beach is a widely recognized expert on digital video technologies with more than ten years of experience as a marketing executive, consultant and interactive agency head.

At Elemental, Beach will drive strategic product direction, marketing and product management for the company’s groundbreaking massively parallel video processing solutions, including Elemental™ Server, a video transcoding appliance for enterprise data centers, Elemental™ Accelerator, a tool for creative video professionals using Adobe® Premiere® Pro CS4, and Badaboom®, a consumer media converter.

Most recently, Beach served as the director of product marketing and support at Inlet® Technologies, where he oversaw the creation of Armada, an automated media processing solution encompassing analysis and transcoding.  Beach is also the author of Real World Video Compression, a book explaining complex compression technologies in plain English.  Beach holds a B.A. in film and video from the Savannah College of Art and Design.
